“Our experience with Wedgewood was unbelievably fabulous. I genuinely didn’t think that any kind of event planning could be so streamlined and attentive. My now-husband and I aren’t exactly flush with free time. Wedgewood worked with our schedule, which was invaluable. The venue, planning, and the day-of team truly made my dreams come true. The venue: my husband and I are both from Colorado & it was a perfect opportunity to provide our guests with a slice of Colorado. Mountainview Ranch was about an hour away from our home outside of Denver, tucked into the mountains far enough to offer stunning geological landscapes and forests and close enough to ensure no one gets lost or carsick on their way. We chose the lakeview location, as it offered the suite of cabins for our guests. Lakeview itself is gorgeous. The bridal & groom suites are roomy & comfortable, the ceremony space is beyond perfect, and the big hall and expansive decks offer stunning views. We went with all of their included/recommended vendors, and all crushed it! Coordination: we toured the venue with Alex, who was awesome. She answered all our (many) questions and sat down with us to discuss what pricing and budgeting looks like. Obviously, as an all-inclusive venue, it’s not an extreme-budget option, but the package cost compared to my estimation of a non-inclusive/DIY version of the same wedding was VASTLY more affordable AND included all the legwork done by experienced professionals. There were 3 main meetings, 6 months, 6 weeks, & ten days out. All were productive and painless. Our coordinator, Caryn, was a true blessing. Patient, funny, detail-oriented, & kind: we never felt rushed or pressured with her. She was on top of everything! I spent my wedding prep time doing fun little DIYs instead of needing to coordinate. The Day-Of: Another shout-out to Caryn, who gracefully guided our listening-challenged family through every step of the process, herded the wedding party to where we needed to be, and answered questions for me. She also ensured my husband and I remained fed and watered, which was vital! The ceremony was beautifully managed. Caryn delivered us food in the bridal suite after the ceremony, and even managed to snap a beautiful photo of our dip kiss, print it, and put it framed on our sweetheart table before we sat down for dinner. A magical woman, truly. Our banquet team also killed it: our captain Mikayla ensured the buffet went off without a hitch. Mikayla also carefully packed us each a meal, complete with appetizers & dessert, which we treasured the day after the wedding when we got home to an empty fridge. The rest of the banquet team, Christy, Tyler, Callie, Maddie, and Nate truly lit up our service with their smiles and assistance. They were all SO helpful, kind, and enthusiastic. I received several comments on how happy they were to lend a hand. Finally: a special shout out to the photobooth, which I worried might be a little over-played. People LOVED it, and it allowed guests to select how many copies they wanted printed. It was delightful. We are genuinely floored. I cannot believe it was as good as it was: it felt like a dream. I got so many compliments on the venue and the wedding and the food (and everything else!!), and so many people marveled at how seamless and fun an event it was. It was all Wedgewood! I feel like all we had to do was show up! I am absolutely patting myself on the back for choosing Wedgewood (& especially Mountainview).”

“The Rose is such a wonderful venue. We had our wedding here in November and it went perfectly! The event coordinator, Patricia, put in an immense amount of work with us getting everything just right. She kept us on track for deadlines, helped organize all decorative details, and helped us coordinate with vendors. Her recommended vendors were great and she has a great working relationship with all of them. She really focused on making the day easy for us. During the event, she was available to handle any requests that we had. She kept us well-hydrated and made sure we had plenty of time to regroup between the ceremony and reception. The space is a historic building that has a vintage charm, including an excellent bar on the 2nd floor mezzanine, moody lighting, and a sophisticated feel. It's located in the heart of Golden, right by Clear Creek. The whole day was very beautiful.”

“THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.”

The food & drinks were delicious, the staff were all super fun, and their day-of coordinator kept the day running smoothly the whole way through (Shout-out to Nico!). We had both our ceremony & reception at Mountain Crust so it was a seamless experience for our guests from start to finish. The staff did an amazing job with the set-up for both and flipped the space around for the reception really quickly once we finished taking family photos during the cocktail hour. We did not feel rushed by the venue's staff at any point, but appreciated that we had them to make sure we didn't forget to do something (like signing our marriage license at sunset!). My bridesmaids and I were also able to hang out in the new bridal suite - known as the "Love Shack" - ahead of the ceremony, and that adorable space made the perfect backdrop for the first look & private vows the two of us did right before lining up to walk down the aisle. The team at Mountain Crust were extremely communicative leading up to the event as well, taking the time to answer every question and provide recommendations where we needed them. My husband & I both agree that there isn't a single thing we would have changed about our wedding, and Mountain Crust Event Venue is a huge reason why. Our guests have all told us what a great time they had, and we can only hope that one of them will get married here in the future so that we can come back and enjoy it again.”

“The Ashley Ridge Wedgewood team went above and beyond! Our wedding was more perfect than we even imagined and our guests keep telling us it was the best wedding they’ve been to. Our coordinator, Calypso, was absolutely phenomenal from the beginning of the planning process through the entire day of. She gave wonderful suggestions when we were unsure of something during planning and executed everything perfectly the day of. It was so nice to have full trust in her and not have to worry about anything! Dylan was our banquet captain and he was just as amazing making sure that my wife and were always taken care of. We also could not have asked for better day of staff as well to make our day perfect. Thank you Quinn, Sierra, Nolan, Janie, Kira and Sydney for everything! Madeline with DJ Maestro was the perfect fit for us. She kept our timeline in order, played the perfect music and really made the day fun. The food was absolutely delicious and they have many options for appetizers. It was also nice that we could order a stuffed pepper separated for any vegans or vegetarians. Lastly, it was a relief that the venue cleaned up everything and repacked our decorations at the end of the night and loaded them into the car. It was so nice that they handled so many things in house and work directly with companies to make the planning less stressful. I appreciated not having to set up/clean up or go and find our own caterer, florist, DJ, baker, etc. We truly were able to enjoy every part of our day without any stress. “Our wedding at Craftwood Peak by Wedgewood Weddings was something out of a fairytale. We are from Kansas and always dreamed of a Colorado wedding, and this adorable, yet enchanting venue in Manitou Springs was better than anything we could’ve imagined. Their coordinating team was excellent help when it came to planning a destination wedding. It was the most beautiful day, and I didn’t have to worry about a single thing thanks to the fabulous event coordination team. Our event coordinator, Violet, truly made sure that everything was taken care of and we loved working with her from the second we met her. She is such a kind, and caring person and genuinely a joy to work with. Our Captains, Jenny and Israel, were a tremendous help to us throughout the night and allowed us to enjoy the night thoroughly. They were a very calm presence and we really appreciated them being there. Our server, Landon, was an absolute delight and always made sure we had everything we needed and more. He was very kind, attentive, and always made sure we had something to drink - alcohol or water! Our bartender, Tyler, was a delight and kept our guests happy throughout the night, and served everyone with a great attitude. We greatly appreciate him! Our chefs, Tristan and John, knocked it out of the park with all of the AMAZING food. It was one of the most talked about things at our wedding as everyone was very pleased with their food. Many people told us it was the best wedding food they ever had, and we certainly agree! As a couple who works in the restaurant business, we know how under appreciated the role of dishwasher is. We want to thank Patrick for being there to wash dishes throughout the night - we noticed your hard work as there was about 60 people in attendance and there were no dirty dishes lying around at all. Last, but certainly not least, our DJ for the night, DJ Fritz, was THE life of the party. We got several compliments from our guests on how fun DJ Fritz was and we agree! It was truly a pleasure to work with him! We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone wanting a Colorado wedding - even for someone who wanted a fall wedding, the venue was so beautiful in late August. Black Canyon Inn has 2 beautiful event spaces! The Boulders venue can accommodate up to 200 guests and aesthetically is a modern event space with natural rock and industrial chandelier lighting. The ceremony and reception take place within the two-story building and there are large accordion opening windows for mountain views throughout your ceremony and reception. The Homestead & Wedding Pavilion Venue can accommodate up to 100 guests and has an outdoor covered Pavilion with mountain views as the ceremony space and a historic rustic cabin for the reception space. We offer an active duty military discount of 10% off our venue fee! We are grateful for your service!
