Stroudsmoor’s enduring reputation for gracious hospitality paired with old-world charm and scenic views of the surrounding mountains have made the Inn a wedding cornerstone in the Poconos for 40 years. Situated atop its own mountain and sprawling across 200+ acres bordering the nearby Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge, Stroudsmoor boasts six diverse wedding and event venues from which our couples may choose to host their celebration. Crestview Chapel offers awe-inspiring views for every one of your 175 to 250 guests. The wrought iron gazebo sits at the edge of the mountain ridge, offering remarkable views of the Cherry Valley Wildlife Sanctuary below and vistas stretching from Delaware Water Gap to Wind Gap and beyond.

Woodsgate is a 200-year old barn – restored with a rustic-chic vibe. Built of stone, slate, and oak beams, the cocktail area features comfortable seating, fireplace, and chandeliers artfully made of branches from the Inn’s fallen trees. Perfect for those couples looking for a rustic-chic, country-elegance, and woodland wedding in the scenic Pocono Mountains, Woodsgate makes the perfect location for your wedding day.

Both of these unique, rustic wedding ceremony sites at Woodsgate offers space that graciously accommodates 75 to 150 guests. Our reception hall is crafted from a centuries-old barn. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lower level of the building. Dinner and dancing follow on the upper level where grapevine and lights highlight the dance floor and grand windows surrounding the room offer a view into the woods.
Lawnhaven
Exquisite Garden Setting
The pavilion at Lawnhaven provides a perfect secondary option to eliminate the worries of inclement weather and comes complete with a cozy fireplace, stone bar, and casual outdoor seating. It is situated on a terraced lawn between Stroudsmoor’s Main Inn and the Cabins on the Commons. Its footprint creates a complete circle, forming an open-air arena surrounded by lush evergreen gardens for total privacy.

Lawnhaven’s exquisitely appointed Evergreen Garden provides the perfect site for your ceremony. Complete with a stone gazebo, fire columns, and a three-tier water feature. The wedding ceremony is celebrated on one of two grand lawns. An event at Lawnhaven requires a minimum of 75 guests, while it graciously accommodates a maximum of 150 for a traditional served meal; 200 for a cocktail reception.
SCI Pavilion
Enchanting Outdoor Ceremony Site
The wedding ceremony is orchestrated under towering black walnut trees, surrounded by the woods and fields of wildflowers. Open to the sky above or under custom tenting, are among the options available for your celebration at the Pavilion. The Pavilion will graciously accommodate 50 to 110 guests for grazing-style receptions with tailored-to-your-taste buffet menu options.

Couldn’t have picked a better Venue!
From the moment we first reached out to the team at Stroudsmoor Country Inn, we were impressed by their consistent, reliable, and understanding communication style. The quality of their work was truly outstanding and amazing - they wowed our guests with their impeccable service and catered to everyone's needs throughout the entire day. Once we saw the Terraview venue, we knew we had to have it. The team was incredibly personable and accommodating, making our special day feel truly magical. We cannot recommend Stroudsmoor Country Inn highly enough for any couple looking for a breathtaking wedding venue with top-notch service.
Wedding of Our Dreams!
Our wedding at the Stroudsmoor was absolutely incredible, and we truly cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, everything about the experience felt peaceful, organized, and completely stress-free. The accommodations were beautiful, and the entire morning leading up to the wedding felt calm and worry-free...exactly what every couple hopes for on their big day. Our wedding coordinator, Grace, went above and beyond in every way. She made sure every detail was set up exactly as we envisioned and was always one step ahead, keeping everything running smoothly. Right before our ceremony was scheduled to begin, we were unexpectedly told that our officiant had not arrived and had completely forgotten about our wedding. What could have been a complete disaster turned into one of the most memorable moments of the day thanks to Grace’s quick thinking. Luckily, my husband's great-uncle, who is an ordained minister, stepped in to officiate. Grace immediately helped by rewriting a ceremony script for him to follow and guiding everything behind the scenes, so our ceremony went off without a hitch. Because of her professionalism and calmness, what could have been a very stressful experience turned into a meaningful and unforgettable moment. We ended up being married by our dear family member. Communication throughout the entire day was outstanding, and we always felt completely taken care of. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better outcome or a more beautiful place to celebrate our wedding. Thank you to the entire team at Stroudsmoor and especially Grace, for making our day so special!
Perfect Winter Wedding
We were married 12/27/25 at Woodsgate at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn. There was truly magic in the air. Everything leading up to the day was seamless, and come the wedding weekend, the magic continued. This venue takes care of everything - lodging, decorations, F&B, floral arrangements, wedding cake, hair & make up services, and the on-site team that helps you every step of the way. Woodsgate is simply stunning, the beautiful building along with the ethereal woodland chapel. Although there was a snow storm and we couldn’t use the chapel, the staff ensured we had a beautiful ceremony underneath the outdoor pavilion which was gorgeous in itself. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING, we opted for a welcome hot cocoa bar, 35 passed hor d’ourves for cocktail hour, delicious entrees, an amazing chocolate raspberry buttercream wedding cake, and my personal favorite a milk & cookies dessert bar! We utilized the bridal studio for hair & make up and our ledgemere suite was top tier. We even had our rehearsal dinner onsite at their restaurant in the stone room with a delicious seafood buffet. Grace was our wedding coordinator who is an absolutely doll & was lovely to work with! Our winter wonderland wedding day was so special, so seamless, and was truly the best day of our lives.
A Dream Wedding at Stroudsmoor
We had our wedding at Lawnhaven at Stroudsmoor in December, and it was truly everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment the day began, everything ran so smoothly, which allowed us both to fully enjoy every moment. As a bride, having that peace of mind meant everything. The staff was amazing — attentive, organized, and genuinely caring. Grace, our wedding coordinator, was incredible from beginning to end. She handled every detail with such care and made the entire process feel completely effortless. It was the most perfect day, and I wouldn’t change a single thing. We will be talking about our experience and recommending Stroudsmoor for years to come.
