This North Georgia Wedding Venue is the perfect place for your wedding or next event! The Wheeler House is the ultimate package encompassing true southern charm! For more information, call us today! Conveniently reached by guests from all parts of North Georgia and the suburbs of Atlanta, The Wheeler House encompasses true southern charm with its meaningfully preserved, yet restored grounds and house. Built in 1906 by John. F. Wheeler, owner of the Wheeler Lumber Yard on Main Street in Ball Ground, the house was constructed with Heart Pine tongue and grove floors, walls, ceilings, and wrap-around porches. The Wheeler House is a historic gem that has been given new life by serving as a wedding venue and special event site.

The Wonderful Wheeler House
I truly cannot imagine getting married anywhere other than The Wheeler House. From the start, they made the planning process feel so smooth and enjoyable, and our wedding day was absolutely beautiful- even with cold and rainy weather, they still made everything feel warm, seamless, and so special. Kelle, our day-of coordinator, was incredible. She handled every detail with so much grace and care - even when little things came up, she took care of everything so we could stay fully present and enjoy the day together. That meant so much to us. Our ceremony and celebration felt so meaningful, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. We are beyond grateful for The Wheeler House and the role they played in such a special day in our lives. We would choose them again in a heartbeat.

Our experience with The Wheeler House far exceeding all expectations. The wedding itself was nothing short of magical, but the communication and flow of everything from the wedding planning meetings to the day of was handled so professionally that I truly felt like the only stress free bride in history. Having our wedding at The Wheeler House made for such an amazing and stress-free day. We loved that The Wheeler House included a caterer, DJ, and cake—it truly felt like a one-stop shop. Having so many major vendors already included made the planning process much easier and far less overwhelming. They also provide a list of preferred vendors for photography, florals, makeup, and transportation, which made selecting the remaining vendors incredibly easy. I booked one of their preferred floral vendors, and it was such a great experience since they already knew the space, the layout, and what would look best for the overall design. We also booked one of their preferred transportation vendors, which was just as convenient because they were familiar with the property and logistics, making everything run effortlessly. The entire staff at The Wheeler House was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and consistently positive from the moment we booked through our wedding day. Having one location for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception kept the day flowing beautifully. We also loved having both indoor and outdoor options. We had a winter wedding, and while the southern weather allowed us to be outside, knowing we had a stunning indoor backup option gave us so much peace of mind during planning in case of rain or colder temperatures. We also booked The Wheeler House cottages for our wedding weekend, which made getting ready and overnight accommodations extremely convenient. Having our family and bridal party together all weekend made the experience even more special. While The Wheeler House may initially seem more expensive, we absolutely got our money’s worth. Because so much is included, we had fewer vendors to coordinate on our own, which saved us time, stress, and additional costs. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue in North Georgia that offers incredible value and includes so many essentials, I highly recommend The Wheeler House.

The Wheeler House was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was SO attentive and detail-oriented - our wedding planner was amazing and made everything so easy. The value is unmatched, as their package makes it so easy and you absolutely can not beat the beauty of the venue. I would recommend The Wheeler House 1000 times over. The price, AMAZING food, gorgeous details, dedicated team, and wonderful vendor partners make this the best choice in Georgia for a wedding in our opinion.
